Established in 2013, BAMLA Consultants are based in the United Kingdom, with representation across Europe.

BAMLA consultants offer a unique blend of hands on experience and solid engineering qualifications recognised by the British Engineering Council.

Technical expertise and experience of solving problems for the world’s biggest contractors and operators alike, and now, helping to apply the same industry leading techniques to a broader spectrum of clients.

The team have worked on EPC Greenfield projects, high value Brownfield modifications, delivery management of work, specialist packages, Failure Mode Analysis, and extensive Reliability and Maintenance solutions.

Project, engineering, & Interface management

Providing experience to clients in the management of their projects – large scale (>$1B) Greenfield projects down to smaller technically challenging brownfield projects and New Technology concept support.

We can offer guidance in the project, engineering and interface requirements of internal and external stakeholders, including vendor equipment and T&I contracts.

Our team offers experience from both contractor and operator side of projects, ranging in costs and complexities.

We help our clients avoid expensive pitfalls in areas such as contract compliance, subcontracting agreements, verification processes, vendor management of high value packages, fabrication contracts, and accurate forecasting of cost and scheduling

Stages of equipment package management we can provide for our clients;

Providing technical input to proposal documents and assisting with the review of tender documents.
Providing technical support to the tendering process including technical authorship, and compilation of project specification documents.
Delivery of package equipment, and package management – both static and rotating equipment.
Preparing mechanical datasheets for package equipment – both static and rotating equipment
Preparing specifications for package equipment – both static and rotating equipment
Raising technical requisitions for package equipment – both static and rotating equipment
Providing progress reports for package delivery; expediting Suppliers and tracking & reporting progress to our client.
Preparing Engineering specifications, datasheets and requisitions for upgrade / modification of rotating and static equipment
Carrying out both technical and commercial bid evaluations for procured items, and issuing RTA to our clients.
Reviewing vendor documents
Package management and vendor liaison
Attendance to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT); and facilitating Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) where required.
Participating in safety engineering reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, DSR, project constructability reviews and audits, and ensuring close out of mechanical related actions
Interfacing with client reps on project matters as required.
Carrying out value engineering and package cost reviews with a view to delivering cost effective packages that can improve the client’s bottom line.
